On abdominal radiography, clustered radiolucent dots presumed air are seen on both sides of the abdomen.
It may be misdiagnosed as feces. But, there is no outline for the colonic wall, and these locations are somewhat medial to say that these are intracolonic lesions. So, pneumatosis intestinalis of small bowel loops should be suspected. On CT, pneumatosis intestinalis with severe ischemic change is noted in several small bowel loops.
