This patient showed decreased renal function, so only noncontrast CT scan was performed. On coronal image, large abdominal aortic aneurysm was well noted. At the left and inferior side of the aneurysm, high density crescent shape (short arrows) was seen, suggesting mural or intramural hematoma of the aorta. Outside of that lesion, retroperitoneal hematoma (long arrows) and fat infitlration (*) were also seen. These acute hematoma on the AAA and retroperitoneal hematoma indicate rupture of the AAA.
