Diffuse axonal injury, and acute subdural hemorrhage
Comments
On noncontrast CT scan, small amount of acute subdural hematoma (long arrows) is noted in the right temporoparietal convexity. Also, large subgaleal hematoma is suggestive along right head.
On gradient echo sequence of the following MRI, small dark signal intenstity lesions suggsting microhemorrhages (short arrows) are noted in the left corpus callosum, bilatearl medial temporal lobe and occipital subcortical area, Lt. basal ganglia and thalamus. It is a typical MR finding of diffuse axonal injury.
