On pre-contrast brain CT, both vertebral arteries (arrows) showed subtle high attenuation. On pre-contrast T1WI, the corresponding VA segments showed high signal intensity suggesting subacute stage clot and suspicious flap-like structure, with luminal narrowing on TOF MRA. SWI which was taken 2 weeks after MRA showed eccentric dark SI of false lumen clot at the VA dissection segments. RTP Live 2023
