On simple radiography, the curvilinear radiolucent structure of bell shape (arrows) and round radiolucent air collection (asterisk) were noted in the RUQ area, corresponding to air collection at the gallbladder wall and lumen, respectively. On CT, mural and intraluminal air collection in the gallbladder were clearly demonstrated. Also, pericholecystic infiltration and small gas collection in the adjacent liver parenchyma were also noted. This is a case of emphysematous cholecystitis. nusaslot
